Here at Few Acres Farm, we strive to educate all of our students on all things equestrian from the ground up. All students learn the ins and outs of catching their horse, grooming, tacking up as well as riding (for those with their own horse). We take horse care and management very seriously and teach our students accordingly. We have a nurturing environment here, where hugs are plentiful and the horse comes first.

Meet the Trainer
Wendy McCann has been riding horses since the age of 10. Most of her riding has been in the Hunter/Jumper discipline, but has also trained with Dressage trainers Heather Johnson and Debbie Salisbury. Wendy has been teaching since 2007 on a variety of horses and ponies and looks forward to teaching you or your young rider. Her approach to training is putting the horse first - always. Wendy is certified through Riding Instructors Association (ARIA) and is also a member of the board of directors for the Maine Hunter/Jumper Association (MeHJA).
