Lessons
Lessons at FAF are only taught by owner/trainer Wendy McCann (ARIA Certified). Lessons in hunt seat, equitation, and general English riding are offered. Jumping is taught to those who want that experience. Groundwork, when requested and when winter footing doesn't condone riding, are also offered. Lessons are always geared toward giving the individual an all around education. All riders will eventually be able to catch their assigned mount, groom, tack up, and untack once the lesson is over. Wendy provides quality instruction that enables students to succeed in or out of the show ring.
In inclement weather, Horsemanship lessons are given for all riders on that day at the group rate. *Payment for lessons is expected when cancelling for any reason with less than 24 hours notice AND a makeup lesson has not been scheduled. No exceptions. |

Showing
Many of our riders enjoy the challenge and fun of competing. While this is not a requirement to ride at FAF, it's an option for dedicated riders. Many of the members of the show team have qualified for the Downeast Medal Finals and year end awards through the MeHJA and Maine Horse Association!
